8x8 in 08 Event

Join us for Peoria's first ever 8x8 event! You'll find a little bit of everything, from traditional to quirky and edgy in amazing pint-sized pieces of art created by professional artists.

Visit us during Open Preview days to get a sneak peak of the 8x8's and come to the event prepared to bid Dutch Auction style.

Open Preview Dates/Times: November 20 - 21 (10am - 5pm)

Dutch Auction Date/Time: November 22 (6 - 9pm)

Admission: $15 members / $25 non-members. Price includes live music, hors d'oeuvres and beverages. Space is limited, so get your ticket now.

Photographs by Eli Samson documenting more than two decades of historically significant events in Peoria’s African American cultural history.

Sandra McKenzie Schmitt’s sculptures

of people influenced by Peoria’s South End community.
The faces of Sandra’s ceramic sculptures reflect a sense of pride in the personalities she portrays. Her models are people who have persevered despite great obstacles in their lives.
