Peoria Art Guild Member Artists'
Show
An opportunity to give
local artists visibility in the community. Over one
hundred artists usually participate.
Mentor Apprentice Program (MAP)
Exhibition
Approximately 15 selected high
school studetns exhibit work they created in the Art
Guild's Studio School during the intensive summer program,
MAP. Students learn studio techniques and life skills
from professional artists. This program gives students
a competitive advantage and many MAP graduates have
received college scholarship.

A Contemporary Look at Lincoln's Visits to the Peoria
Area
In connection with the statewide year
of celebration of President Lincoln's 200th birthday,
the Peoria Art Guild will give the viewer a virtual
tour of the locations President Lincoln visited in Peoria,
including the site of the Lincoln-Douglas debate. Selected
contemporary painters and photographers will re-create
those historic locations.
