Community
h'Art
Nourishing
each child's appetite for art one project at a time.

An extension of our larger artREACH
program, Community h'Art is designed to offer an educational
experience in the visual arts to children grades K-8.
Private and public schools, home-school
groups and after-school organizations are eligible to
participate. The program is offered from November to
May and by special appointment at all other times of
the year.
Community h’Art offers teachers
and organization leaders the flexibility to choose between
two types of visits: Dine In in which your group comes
to us and includes a brief lecture and tour of our gallery,
or Delivery in which we send a qualified instructor
to lead a hands-on art project in your classroom. A
project "menu" is available for each type
of visit and are representative of a variety of media.
All visits are honored on a first-come-first-served
basis.
Please limit your visit to a maximum of 40 students.
HELP FUND THIS PROGRAM!
We strongly believe this is a program our community
needs. We want to see it continue, but we can't do it
without your help.
A donation of $1 per child helps fund
the program, allowing it to continue in the future.

wonderful program? Contact Erin Robert, Education Coordinator,

artREACH
The Peoria Art Guild is dedicated to helping
the youth of our community succeed. One of the ways we can
realize this goal is through "artREACH." Currently
we work with children from more than ten social service agencies
and public schools including:
Fondulac Library, Arts Place, Planned Parenthood, the Dreamcenter
and Southside Mission.
By using art to help these children express themselves, they
develop self-esteem and problem solving skills and, most importantly,
a sense of accomplishment to help put them on the road to
a successful future.
By teaching children
to express themselves through art, they learn to discover
who they are as well as find a way to reach for their dreams.
Your donation to the artREACH program
will enrich the lives of Peoria's youth. Call The Peoria Art
Guild today, 309.637.2787, to support artREACH.
